In the whole communication industry, the environment of mobile communication base station is more complex. Due to the restriction of the environment conditions of base station, the requirements of construction and configuration are different, and maintenance requirements are different. For example, many base stations are built on high buildings or high mountains. Objectively speaking, most of the urban power environment of base stations is not as high as that of exchange bureaus, but the quality of batteries is higher, which adds many difficulties to the configuration, maintenance and management of batteries. Therefore, controlling the charging and discharging of the batteries is an important link in the maintenance of the batteries. Battery charging is divided into floating charging and balanced charging. The so-called floating charge refers to the parallel operation of storage battery and switching power supply when the city electricity is normal. The output voltage of switching power supply meets the requirements of battery manufacturers, generally 2.23V/unit, which is used to meet the needs of self-discharge and oxygen cycle of batteries. By definition, floating charge voltage can only meet the needs of self-discharge and oxygen cycle of battery, and can not be used as supplementary charge after battery discharge. Supplementary charging of batteries is accomplished by balanced charging of switching power supply. When charging equally, the charging voltage is increased to 2.35V~2.40V/battery, and the battery is charged with current less than or equal to 0.10C10A. The control of charging process is realized by setting the switching power supply and intelligent control of the switching power supply. In daily maintenance, it can be checked regularly by the power environment monitoring system to prevent the change of rectifier parameters and battery damage.
